Yuba City Race For Awareness

Start training! The 14th Annual Race for Awareness 5K Walk/Run will be held on Saturday, October 1st at Geweke Field and Larry Geweke Ford. The day starts out with registration, group warmup, a short inspirational message from a local survivor, and then the Race begins!

The race route starts and ends on Geweke Field and travels through Downtown Yuba City. Click Here to view a map of the race route (Opens in a new window). Following the Race there is a popular pancake breakfast provided by John Nicoletti and prepared by Larry and Norma Montna. This is one of few local races where awards are presented soon after the race.

Last year we had over 1,000 participants and we anticipate another great crowd this year! This very special and touching event gathers family, friends, co-workers, athletes and even dogs to celebrate breast cancer survivors or the memory of a loved one. We hope you are able to join us!
